Winter Holiday Art Workshops

2 Week-long Workshops: Dec. 21-24th, and Dec. 28th-Dec. 31st 9am-3pm, Ages 6-14 Tuition: $275.00/week/ $75/day. Sign up before November 28th, and receive 10% discount. Bring a lunch, snacks provided.

Come and paint with the colors of your imagination: 22 beautiful colors of non-toxic liquid tempera paints, high quality acid-free paper, and a wide range of oil pastels for drawing, collage. Class size is limited to 10 students, so that there will be time for individual attention to each student. During the week we will explore a variety of exercises designed to expand the use of materials and techniques, while leaving plenty of time for individual painting and drawing process, in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere. Fundamentals of drawing and painting will be covered.

Beth earned a Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1987, and has been teaching art to children, teens and adults since 1986. She most enjoys nurturing the creativity in each student. Beth designed and taught the art program at The Crowden School from 2002-5. She exhibits her work professionally and her art appears in many private and public collections. She was nominated for the SECA award (Society for Encouragement of Contemporary Art) in 1997, and is represented in San Francisco at the SFMOMA Artist's Gallery.
