Come and make beautiful hand made collages or cards for your loved ones! No experience necessary!
We’ll have a wide supply of materials and you are welcome to bring any personal items: photographs, family mementos from a special time or experience, or anything you’d like to incorporate to make it a personal expression. We’ll provide 3 sizes of acid free paper, images from magazines, scissors, archival glue, 22 premixed colors of high-quality liquid tempera paint, watercolors, gouache, oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, colored papers and fabric.
Here is a list of things you may find will spark your creative spirit, but it is not necessary, only suggested as an invitation (thank you to Kathy Altman and Lori Saltzman for this partial list)
2 magazines that represent your personal interests – willing to cut them up
1-2 magazines to share outside your personal interest
A map of your home town or places you have visited that you love
Color or Black and white copies of photos of the following: you at different stages of your life, your family, friends, pets, home, places you love, teachers you have had (these will be cut up so please do not bring original, and can be printed on regular paper)
